Here comes the lord of the rings- ‘ikee’, the first ever iPhone worm found by F-Secure. If you are a jail breaker then for sure your device is vulnerable to this sweet sounding yet wild spreading worm! Ikee is believed to infect devices that have been jail broken by their owners. By jail breaking we mean removing iPhone's protection mechanisms so that any software can run on your iPhone.

If your iPhone is inflicted with this worm, the symptom that you can get to notice is that your iPhone wallpaper has been altered to a picture of Rick Astley, the British pop singer whose song ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ has gained eternal infamy. The photo is accompanied by the message- ‘ikee is never gonna give you up,’ and it's apparently quite difficult to remove. After Ikee infects a phone, it disables the SSH service, preventing re-infection. Now what could be its after effects, any guesses?

Currently limited to one-to-one communication, Google is now all set to strengthen its voice and video chat capabilities in its e-mail service. According to Rishi Chandra, Google Apps product manager told SFGate that Google is set to roll out its first update in a long line of updates that will include multi-user video conferencing.

He was also quoted saying that introducing video conferencing abilities is the first step in a much broader set of features we hope to roll out over the next six to 12 months around video and voice chat capabilities.

The aim of launching free video chat and conferencing features was to bridge the gap that the other players had created. For Google it is a great opportunity to push that space along.

Good news for MSN lovers. Microsoft is now ditching the heavy blue background and stack of tiny text and menus across the top of the page that have defined msn.com for more than a decade!

The entire web portal makeover is done in hopes to churn more visitors to Bing which is Microsoft’s launched search engine.

The new portal is aimed to be cleaner with a white background and simple colorful links.

The other reason behind this change is the fact that Microsoft’s online services are not so profitable ventures as advertising has failed to recoup money the company has poured into competing with in search.
